It might be two, three, four.. or even five as shown here. Abbreviated DC2tog, DC3tog, DC4tog, DC5tog etc, the technique is exactly the same regardless of how many stitches you need to join. • DC2tog is commonly as a technique to decrease number of stitches; here though, I am demonstrating DC5tog all worked into the same stitch to create a type of cluster stitch. In this example, the clusters form the petals of my sunflower in the Sunflower Lovers Granny Square. • How to: Yarn over, insert hook, pull up a loop. Yarn over, pull through two loops - two loops are left on hook. Now, yarn over, insert hook back into the same space, pull up a loop. Yarn over and pull through two loops. Three loops are now left on the hook. Repeat this three more times, so six loops are left on the hook. Now, yarn over and pull through all six loops. This completes the DC5tog. Most patterns will have you chain one or two stitches before moving on to your next cluster. • • #crochetstitch #crochetstitches #crochet #shortscrochet #shorts #crochetvideo #crochettechniques #crochettips #howtocrochet #easycrochet #beginnercrochet #crochetwithme #doublecrochet #dc2tog #dc3tog #dc4tog #dc5tog #grannysquare #crochetsunflower #sunflowercrochet #clusterstitch #crochetcluster
