🏖️Stan and Rhonda from Over The Hill Adventures head to another pre-season destination, Jalama Beach County Park with their new Grand Design Influence 2903RL fifth wheel. This relatively small beach campground is a true hidden gem. Campgrounds on the beach in California are very rare. Not knowing what to expect, they traverse the small, tight road for 15 miles in the hills of Santa Barbara County before reaching the campground. Once they get there, they realize they have found a beautiful beach campground that very few people know about. • This campground was brought to their attention by a friend who took a picture of a bench that memorialized the murder of Detective Jeremiah MacKay on Feb 12, 2013 by Christopher Dorner. When Stan was working as a Homicide Detective with San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department he was with Detective Jeremiah MacKay an hour before his death and watched over his body an hour after his death. Later, Stan also assisted in the documentation of his autopsy.
