Two of the critically endangered captive Mexican gray wolves (siblings named F810 and M807) at the Wolf Conservation Center in South Salem, NY howl a beautiful duet. The Mexican gray wolf (Canis lupus baileyi) is the southernmost and most genetically distinct subspecies of the North American gray wolf. From prehistoric to fairly recent times, the Mexican wolf, or lobo, ranged from central and northern Mexico to western Texas, southern New Mexico, and central Arizona. • If you want to watch Mexican wolves in live time, visit our live Mexican gray wolf webcams at http://nywolf.org/wolf-cam/ If you see something cool, let us know! • For more information about these wolves and the Species Survival Plan (SSP) for critically endangered Mexican gray wolves, please visit our website at www.nywolf.org and follow us on facebook ( / nywolforg ) and twitter ( / nywolforg )
