Meta Model NLP • In 1975, Richard Bandler and John Grinder, co-founders of NLP, released The Structure of Magic. • Within this book, the Meta Model made its official debut and was originally intended to be used by therapists. • It ended up becoming an integral part of NLP and has found widespread use beyond the clinical setting, including business, sales, and coaching/consulting. • This conception of the Meta Model has been largely inspired by the work of Michael Breen. • Disclaimer: Transformational Grammar has largely been abandoned by modern linguists. However, this does not invalidate the practical application of the Meta Model. I will be doing a follow-up video in the future with a modern rendition of the Meta Model with a more modern linguistic underpinning. • Here's the link to the updated version: • NLP Meta Model Revisited: The Real St... • 0:00 Intro • 0:16 History of the Meta Model • 1:18 The Goal of the Meta Model • 2:14 The Meta Model Compass • 3:30 Presuppositions • 5:15 Mind Reading • 6:07 Lost Performative • 7:01 Modal Operators • 9:58 Universal Qualifiers • 10:46 Cause Effect • 11:33 Nominalization • 12:16 Predicates • 13:10 Complex Equivalence • 14:33 Comparative Deletions • 16:04 Non-referring Nouns Unspecified Verbs • 18:33 Frame of Reference • 19:03 The Framing Tool • 20:02 Inoculation • 23:24 Changing People's Minds • Download the PDF! • https://pcialpha.com/meta-model-pdf • ✩✩View The Full Blog Post Here✩✩ • https://pcialpha.com/nlp/nlp-meta-model • ✩✩Subscribe To My Youtube Channel✩✩ • http://www.youtube.com/subscription_c... • ✩✩Follow Me✩✩ • My Blog: https://pcialpha.com • Facebook: / pcialpha • Instagram: / pcialpha • Twitter: / pcialpha
