Hatred around the world arise from small differences that gradually turn into conflicts. As we might begin to unconsciously discriminate people with different attitudes, Prasertkul invites us to put ourselves into others' shoes and try to see the world through their eyes. From hunter tribe in Africa to the Dalai Lama to political protestor groups in Thailand, each and every individual has their own reason supporting their beliefs. This talk will help us realize that behind a few differences, human beings share greater similarities regardless to groups or parties they belong to. • Wannasingh Prasertkul is a television host, a documentary maker, a writer, an explorer and a societal developer. His career in media industry allows him to journey around the world and learns about the difference in culture, perception and moral standard in every place he has visited. • This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
