HAPPY HIGALAAY FESTIVAL! • What a fantastic way to celebrate! CLIMBS has won the championship in the Higalaay Civic Military and Float Parade competition last August 27, 2024. • CLIMBS’ float represents the rich cultural heritage, beliefs and traditions that shape the identity of Kagay-anons while exploring different themes and ways of life of Christianity, Islam, and the Lumads residing in the community. The float aims to highlight the origins and folklore of the giant Oro fish residing underneath the St. Augustine Church. While encompassing the infamous Birhen Sa Kota (Our Lady of the Walls) that pays tribute to the city’s Christian pilgrimage, and highlighting the diversity that can be found in the City of Golden Friendship. CLIMBS’ unique identity as cooperative and a climate insurance provider, shows the elements of growth and sustainability in paving the way for a better future for all. • Special thanks to our float artist, Mr. Michael Bacol, for bringing our vision to life.
