Her Late Most Excellent Majesty's coffin - draped in the Royal Standard of Scotland and with flowers from the Balmoral estate - is carried by soldiers of The Royal Regiment of Scotland as she departs her northern kingdom for the last time. Among the soldiers is Ben Tubuna, from Rewa, Fiji, a distance of 9,788 miles away, on the other side of the world • Following behind is the Late Sovereign's daughter, the Princess Royal, Anne, who will accompany The Queen on her final journey by air to London, on board a C-17 Globemaster of the Royal Air Force. • The melody is Flowers of the Forest , a famous lament for those who fell at the battle of Flodden on 9 September 1513. It is such a sacred melody that bagpipers will not practise it within hearing, and only play it on occasions such as this. • The dignified commentator (at 2:43) is Alastair Bruce.
