This video demonstrates how non-sedated ABR (auditory brainstem response), BAER (brainstem auditory evoked response), OAE (otoacoustic emission) testing is performed. Traditionally, such testing required being absolutely still and quiet. This often mandated sedation in small children given their lack of cooperation. Non-sedated ABR/OAE/BAER testing can now be performed without sedation.
