I have been an @nkfatl board member for a decade, and I can tell you firsthand that the Atlanta Kidney Walk is NOT your everyday walk. • Yes, we walk for kidney disease awareness and equity in treatment. We walk in support of the resilience of our loved ones on dialysis, and we celebrate those who have received kidney transplants. • We walk in support of legislation that supports kidney patients and kidney donors. We walk for all of these things… We also celebrate with unapologetic joy! We laugh.
