Why should we write like no one will ever read our work? In this talk, Elise Tao revisits moments in her life that have shaped her approach to writing—that is, unabashedly candid. Using everything from a New Yorker rejection letter to a middle school diary she somehow is still emotionally attached to, Elise will make the case for internal validation and self-realization as a creative. • TEDxMahwah Executive Team: Cyril Rikh (Executive Director), Michelle C.
