Jazz Guitar (1957) - Track 1 • Jim Hall (guitar), Red Mitchell (bass), Carl Perkins (piano) • Jim Hall rose to prominence in the early 60's, and was well regarded for his smooth tonal work and advanced harmonics. Jim Hall and Joe Pass had somewhat of a professional rivalry throughout the 70's-early 80's, often trading places atop Down Beat Magazine's annual Best Of poll.
