🚨 Seizure Warning 🚨 • If you want to try the software for yourself, go to http://rafaelcosman.github.io/JSGameO... • This is a piece of software that I wrote which is a much more general version of Conway's Game of Life. It allows one to change the rules in real time. The cells color is based on their age. • This clip opens with Conway's normal rule-set: • A dead cell needs 3 neighbors to come to life • A life cell needs 2 or 3 neighbors to stay alive • The first modification that's made is that cells need 2, 3, or 4 neighbors to live. This causes an intricate labyrinth of cells to fill the grid. Changes to the rules are represented by the shaded rectangles on the left.
