Digimon World 4 Guilmon reaches level 999

/ ulillillia --- The final level up, after a long and grueling grindfest, has finally been obtained, at least for Guilmon. It takes playing for a couple of months at 6 times real time just to get that, and autoleveling is pretty much a must. What does it take just to get that last level up? Basically, that final level requires the same amount of experience as going from level 1 to 114 plus about 15% of the way through 114. The fastest way to manually level up is that of the scorpions just outside of Ancient Ruin (there are faster methods yet, but Guilmon doesn't have access to them as he doesn't have venom or impact. Even then, at 6 times real time, it still takes about 40-45 minutes to get that last level, let alone all of the previous levels. Unlike the mummies, the scorpions don't last forever, but there is a large supply of them. I use the music as a guide for how far I'm into the routine. But, the point is, this is what it takes just to get that last level up. • The next video will be of segments of the aftermath of this. It'll first cover the massive amount of shopping for optimal equipment (and using save states and fast forward to speed up that process by a factor of about 20). Then I'll be going into normal mode for getting level-1-compatible weapons for other starting digimon that are still on level 1. Following that is going into hard mode to get middle-ground weapons for about halfway through so that, when tech gets to around 1400 or whatever, I can get a massive damage boost to speed up the early leveling up process even more, or working on other types of weapons so they can be freely swapped around as needed.
