The Ethnicity of The Bible Part 1

In a presentation requested by a member of the ‘Church of God Sabbath Keeping’ Pastor Garry Parkes (Ahavah Fellowship) teaches on one of the most suppressed topics in history the ethnicity of the Hebrew bible. • I remember wanting to show images of the bible characters to my children many years ago and when I took to Google randomly searching for popular bible figures such as the apostle Paul, Moses, Mary, Bathsheba King David, Solomon, Adam and Chavah, Samson and of course Yeshua (Jesus) every image was consistent of a Caucasian European featured man or woman even Samson who had dreadlocks was portrayed as white. • This became a cause for me to be deeply disturbed that my children would never relate to the bible as a book chronicling the greatest events in earth’s history and the legendary people that walked this earth, The children of Israel, and the God of Israel who had done so much for his people over millennia. • The fact that the greatest contributions to humanity were bestowed upon the world by a people of color. This naturally instills a deep sense of pride and legacy for every descendant of the continent of Africa including what is termed as the Levant, especially those of the children of Israel and those in relation to them. • It deeply disturbed me that in the upper echelons of power the minds of those who control the images we see attached to Holy scripture do not wish for a certain people group to believe they could be responsible and central to the most important book to all humanity.
