i have become wave player • excellent work to APTeam on this one. this level looks amazing, it plays superb, and it's actually well-balanced too! i started off with practicing the 1st wave, and i got it down INSTANTLY. the 2nd and 3rd waves took quite longer to get used to (this was due to some very awkward transitions at first, i.e. 66-67% and 84%), but no big deal because in the end it all evened out; they eventually got similarly consistent to the 1st wave. the predrop is very tolerable too, which to me is saying something since this is the official sequel of SW (or at least i think it is?); playing the SW predrop on 60hz over and over was a LOATHING experience (even though i know that can largely be attributed to lrr). anyway, the 59% blue orb or 84% is probably the biggest chokepoint of the entire level (somehow i never died to the latter), albeit they both still aren't even that bad • i tried to stream my first official attempts from 0 on this level, and i got 73% in 15 minutes which was pretty funny. aside from that, i'm really glad i could easily run this level with full detail on my PC • on the session i beat this, i began to play terribly and was throwing HARD. i was starting to get frustrated for the first time on this level, so i can't say i had a perfect experience (i don't blame the level at all though). i was about to stop yet at the same time kept forcing myself to continue playing, and then out of nowhere, the winning attempt came. lesson learned: always gamble • i know absolutely no one is going to believe my attempts, but it is what it is. to add half-a-cherry on top, i did 13-100% (big progress jump from 61-100%) in almost under a thousand attempts lol (it was 1023). i know i've probably gone stupid, but this actually felt easier than BL. hopefully it's a skill boost • clicks: • Cosmic Cyclone • ―――――――――― • Level ID: 76159410 • Attempts: 1,639 • Worst Fails: 86%, 89% • Placement on Pointercrate*: 86 • *as of completion time • Song: F-777 - Hydra • ―――――――――― • 14072 stars, 727 demons, 9/28/2024, 11:18 PM EST • Extreme Demon #57
