Windows NT 5.0 use Windows 3.1 error sound until build 1848 , after build 1848 it starts to use Windows 98 error sounds. • The error sounds in Windows 8 and 8.1 are wrong in this video. It should use Windows Foreground.wav instead of Windows Background.wav. • Both of them are being fixed it in version 2.1. • Version 2.1 : • All Windows error sounds V.2.1 • P.S：Before dislike this video, please read carefully below: • Windows do not have any sounds (include error sounds) before windows 3.0 MME. (I don't include windows 3.0 mme error sound in the first version due to the lack of source at that time) • The Worldwide Longhorn sounds are made by Samsung and never being used in any builds of Windows Longhorn.
