This really does help to further boost VR performance in MSFS. So let’s take a first look at this new tool. • As Matt and the team develop the OpenXR Toolkit further, they are adding Fixed Foveated Rendering to the tool. I am currently testing an unreleased build and I can honestly say I am getting great results, giving a better performance with the same in-game settings and resolution. • With Fixed Foveated Rendering (or FFR), the resolution is adjusted so that the center region of the image is rendered at the highest resolution, to provide maximum clarity.
