As the name suggests, it offers driving assistance (autonomous steering, autonomous braking, adaptive cruise control, ...) under certain conditions. • Pilot Assist is the alternative for Tesla Autopilot and Mercedes Drive Pilot. In my opinion, Pilot Assist describes better what the system does than for example Autopilot , the name Tesla uses for its semi-autonomous feature.
