LNER Azuma Diverts at Carlisle 09102021

Filmed on 09/10/2021. Well, for first time in 4 years, we have managed to get away to the citerdale City of Carlisle (Cumbria) for the Diverts by LNER. At around September into October of each year, the East Coast Mainline north of Morpeth is closed on weekends due to engineering works which takes place. This doesn't only mean that services are reduced to Scotland but also means an hourly LNER Azuma diverts via Tyne Valley to Carlisle.
