The School Age Program Quality Assessment (also known as the SAPQA) and the Youth Program Quality Assessment (also known as the YPQA) are research-validated and field-tested tools designed to evaluate the quality of after-school and summer programs. Professionals in Arkansas are trained to serve as PQA external assessors. To serve in this capacity, an assessor must become “endorsed” by the David P.
