Make Extra Crispy Juicy Chicken Tenders at home. • Extra Crispy Chicken Tenders | KFC Style Chicken Tenders | Chicken Tenders Recipe | Fried Chicken Tenders | Crispy Chicken Tenders | Chicken Fingers | Chicken Strips | Fried Chicken Recipe | Best Crispy Chicken Tenders | Chicken Tenders Recipe By Flavoredd By Nikki • Ingredients for Extra Crispy chicken tenders, • (Tsp-Teaspoon; Tbsp-Tablespoon) • Chicken tenderloins boneless- 1 LB • or 2 chicken breasts cut into strips • Buttermilk- 1 cup • or 1 cup regular milk + 2 tbsp vinegar • Hot sauce- 2 tbsp • For Dry Coating, • All-Purpose Flour-2 cups • Salt- 2 tsp • Garlic powder - 2 tsp • Onion Powder - 1/2 tsp • Ground Black Pepper- 1 tsp • Paprika powder- 1 tbsp • Dried oregano- 1 tsp • For the Wet Batter: • All-Purpose Flour- 1 cup • Salt- 1/2 tsp • Crushed Black Pepper-1 tsp • 1 egg • Water- 3/4 cup • Sauce • Mayonnaise- 1/2 cup • Sriracha- 2 tbsp • Lemon juice- 1 tbsp • Salt a pinch • Method, • Mix 1 cup buttermilk with 2 tbsps hot sauce. Pour over chicken tenders and mix well. Cover and marinate for 2 hours or overnight. • Buttermilk substitute - Pour 1 cup whole milk into a cup and add 2 tbsp vinegar. Set aside for 15 minutes. Use after 15 minutes. • Make the sauce, Mix all ingredients under Sriracha mayo and serve on the side. • put it in the refrigerator until time to use. • In a bowl, add all ingredients under Wet Batter except water. Add half the water first, mix and add more water little by little under the batter is thick. You may not need all the water. Whisk until smooth.In another bowl, add all ingredients under Dry Coating. Mix well. • After chicken has been marinated - take each piece of chicken, let excess marinade drip off, coat in flour mixture, shake off excess, coat in wet batter, shake off excess, coat in flour mixture, shake off excess, and set aside on a plate for at least 5 minutes before deep frying. • On medium heat, heat oil for deep frying chicken. The temperature should be 350 degrees Fahrenheit or 180 degrees Celsius.Place each coated tender into hot oil and fry for 5 to 7 minutes or until golden brown.
