Welcome back to Up and Around, • We have returned to The Roaches, in the Staffordshire Peak District, on a fine late summer day, on a club weekend trip with members of the BMSCMC. • We’re here to do some club climbing at this magnificent gritstone venue, and are staying in the Don Whillans Memorial Hut at the base of the crag. • https://bmscmc.org/ • We have been joined by a couple of our younger members and have taken them onto the lower tier to climb Chalkstorm which is an E3 5c 2 star climb, supported by other club members.
