This video shows the summary manufacturing process of my OnStep telescope controller for my SkyWatcher EQ5 mount. This project is easy to manufacturing, it is an easily customizable open source project and it works very reliably. I chose a MiniPCB because it is very compact. On my EQ5 mount I use timing belts and timing pulleys, as this type of power transmission is backlash-free. The case is made entirely of metal and it turns out that the range of the WiFi connection is very bad. Therefore, I later installed an ESP-07 instead of the ESP-01 and installed an external WiFi antenna.
