In the picture, Franco is still playing his Fender Jaguar, but I think this may have been recorded after he had just made the switch to the Gibson Les Paul. • If the story of this song is similar to that of Lisolo Ya Adamo Na Nzambe by Ntesa Dalienst, Franco might have intervened here. • In the case of that song, Franco asked Ntesa: Is it OK if I intervene? And then he improvised his whole part right there in the studio. • You can hear the difference: Ndombe, who really hasn't got the natural gift to squeeze as many syllables into a bar as he needs to get in there. And THAT was actually the written part. • And then Franco takes over, and no matter how many syllables the improvised line may have, he makes it sound completely natural... it all JUST fits. • Besides Ndombe's and Franco's voices, we hear Youlou's and Josky's.
