148 Official Pyraminx PR Average WR4 001 off OcR

Literally the best birthday gift ever. It's my 16th today :D • Time list: 1.50, 1.42, 1.51, (2.83), (1.36) = 1.48 WR4 Pyraminx Average! 0.01 off OcR. • As of 29/09/24 this average ranks me: • 2nd in New Zealand (by 0.01) • 2nd in Oceania (by 0.01, tied with Sebastian Lee) • 4th in the World • Where do I even start man... Going back a few years to March 2020, I set a 2.21 PR Pyraminx Single at this exact venue which ultimately sparked my motivation to become one of the best in the world. Fast forward to December 2020, I came 2nd on the National Podium which really showed me that I can make this dream become true. I continued on throughout the years and rapidly improved dropping my global average from sub 4, to sub 3 and then sub 2. To say the least, this journey was definitely not the easiest. From numerous Oceanic/World Record fails and tragic averages, I am happy to say that I managed to break through this massive mental barrier. • Exactly 28 Pyraminx rounds and 16 months later, I broke my 1.67 PR Average (WR15, peaked at WR5) in Pyraminx Round 1 with a 1.66 PR Average (WR13). I then improved in further in the final with a 1.48 PR Average (WR4, current PR, 0.01 off Oceanic Record) which I will forever be proud of. Also, tied the one and only Sebastian Lee (once again) no way! ‪@sl7175‬ • I could go on to say that this average could've been OcR but I'm not gonna bother. I'm extremely happy with this average. Solve 1 definitely should've been better but I can't complain with WR4! • I cannot express my gratitude to you all. I cannot thank every single person because it would pass the Youtube limit but I'd like to thank my family, friends, Speedcube NZ, Speedcubeshop and literally everyone for the encouragement and support throughout the long, yet fun and eventful journey.
