Synchronized Swimming Surface Arch Arms

In this video we will be working on the synchronized swimming surface arch arms. This drill is meant for both flexibility and balance training. • Key Points: • 1. Get arms behind your head and as close to the knees as possible. Some swimmers will need to work on just bending their arms and getting their hands to face the bottom. • 2. Balance so that both hips stay on the surface. • On the lift • 1. Maintain the arm position as lifting. • 2. Use the core to stay balanced. • As you can see in the video this second drill is very challenging.
