An online portal has been launched for the application of the pre-registration vehicle permit: • https://ehteraz.gov.qa/PER/vehicle/ • How to apply for Vehicle Entry Permits:- • Access the service window through the Ministry of Interior website and sign up to obtain a username and password. • Log in to • https://ehteraz.gov.qa/PER/vehicle/ • Specify the date of arrival and number of passengers. • Enter vehicle data and details of the driver. • Upload the attachments (passport, vehicle ownership). • Submit for the entry permit approval. If approved, an e-mail will be sent attached with the permit and a link to complete the vehicle insurance procedures, as the vehicle would not be allowed to enter the State of Qatar without insuring it. • Documents to be presented upon arrival at the land border crossing • Approved Vehicle Permit. • Vehicle Insurance Policy inside State of Qatar through www.qic-insured.com • General requirements: • The permit can be used only once. (Not for multiple visits) • You must enter through the land border crossing only.
