They simply had to get it right this time. it was decided that Oasis should be captured by microphones as a band playing live. The rhythm and bass parts firmly down and then Noel would just cane it with overdub lead guitar parts. Live sound engineer Mark Coyle was brought in and Anjali Dutt (Who's reputation was built upon working with My Bloody Valentine - Loveless, Spiritualized and The Jesus Mary Chain) remained with the band from the Monnow Valley session. Slide Away was the only recording kept from the Dave Batchelor recordings Owen Morris ensured the completion of the classic debut album from Oasis when he brickwall limited everything via compression in the mastering phase.
