The idea of an expeditor role is great however, the expeditor replacing the conductor on the headend of a locomotive is dangerous. PTC is a safety tool it is NOT a job replacement. If the class 1 railroads truly cared about anything other than money and pleasing wall street they would use this role to help with customer service. Forget replacing the conductor. Use this role to help keep things rolling. Class 1 railroads spend money to help their customers out? Oh no, that will not happen.
