Google announced it would be shutting down its Stadia exclusive game studios this week so we are breaking down what happened. • • It’s true that Stadia has had some wins over the last year. The streaming service beefed up its game library and managed to be one of the best places for people to play Cyberpunk 2077 but that probably wasn’t quite enough to justify millions of dollars on developing exclusive games. • • On the other hand, exclusive games is a tried and true way of enticing people who love games to give your platform a shot.
