For the final time in his career, Marc-Andre Fleury played a game in Pittsburgh. The former Penguins goaltender was honored throughout the evening by both the Penguins organization and fans. It was a good start for the home team: Valtteri Puustinen netted his first of the season on the power play to give the Penguins a 1-0 lead roughly halfway through the opening period. Just under four minutes later, Rickard Rakell lit the lamp with his fifth of the year. Before the period was through, Lauko and Gaudreau tied things up for the visitors. Early in the 2nd, Gaudreau notched another goal, giving the Wild their first lead of the evening. The period ended with a tip-in shot by Zuccarello, making the game 4-2 headed into the final 20 minutes. Kicking off the 3rd, Rakell gets his second goal of the night.
