In this video, I go over the basics of using an umbrella-style softbox. There are a couple of tweaks to go off from here but this is a good starting point for many photographers learning to use lighting modifiers. One thing that can improve upon what I mention in the video would be angling the umbrella a bit downward while maintaing the positioning in relation to the subject. • Profoto Umbrella Deep M White: http://adorama.evyy.net/c/385567/5192... • Less expensive option with slightly different light output, the Photex Softlight II: http://adorama.evyy.net/c/385567/5192... • Here is the light I used in the video, the Godox AD600: http://adorama.evyy.net/c/385567/5192... • I also used the extension head for the ad600 which can be found here: http://adorama.evyy.net/c/385567/5192... • Give me a like if you enjoyed this video and please Subscribe to be notified of new videos. • Find out more about our work at: twoelkstudios.com and JesseStarrProductions.com
