Pangaea or Pangea is the word used for a super continent that was supposed to have happened millions of years ago. I do not believe millions of years. The Earth was divided in the days of Eber's son Peleg. Peleg means division. • Genesis 10:25 “And unto Eber were born two sons: the name of one was Peleg; for in his days was the earth divided; • America, Europe, Asia, Africa and Australia were supposedly one big land mass at one time until they broke off and were divided due to continental drift. Atlantis was supposed to be part of this also. • 1 Chronicles 1:19 - And unto Eber were born two sons: the name of the one was Peleg; because in his days the earth was divided: and his brother's name was Joktan. • Eber was where the word HEBREW came from • Pangea comes from the Greek root words meaning • Pan = all or whole • Gaia = Earth or land • Some worship Gaia as a goddess of mother earth.
