Let's learn different languages/dialects together. • Special Thanks to Bastien! :D • Mentonasc, the dialect spoken in Menton and surrounding areas, is often classified as belonging to the Occitan linguistic area, although its classification is a matter of debate. While it bears the influence of Provencal Nissart, it also exhibits structural features and a lexicon akin to Ligurian Alpins. Some argue that its classification is more political-cultural than linguistic.
