Hi everyone • This is my latest creation. A 30th wedding anniversary (pearl anniversary) cake for Sharon and Iain. • It's a 6 inch vanilla sponge (with four layers inside). I made a Smirnoff Blue Label vodka bottle and a Sunderland FC football shirt as cake toppers, which were the couples' favourite things. • The outside of the cake is covered with cream and beige coloured strips of fondant to give a different texture. The shells are made from fondant and I used a plastic chocolate mould to create the shape.
