The Common Chiffchaff has a very distinctive and insistent call of two notes. This video is of a Chiffchaff but the call it is doing is a single note. This is actually quite a common call but probably the call is misidentified as people are so familiar with the 2 note call. In looks, the Chiffchaff is almost identical to the Willow Warbler but the Willow Warbler has a much more melodious call. The two birds overlap in their ranges entirely in Europe with birds seen but not heard, best left unidentified.
