Udupi rasam ✨ • Rasam powder • Oil- 2 tbsp • Methi- 1/2 tsp • Coriander seeds -1/4 cup • Cumin-1 tsp • Dry red chillies -15 • Hing- pinch • Tomato -1 • green chillies -2 • Jaggery -1 tbsp • Turmeric -1/2 tsp • Curry leaves - 1 sprig • Tamarind extract -1 cup • Salt-1 tbsp • Water-4 cup • Toor dal-1 cup • Rasam powder -3 tsp • Coriander -1 tsp • Tempering • Oil- 1 tsp • Mustard -1 tsp • Urad dal- 1 tsp • Hing - pinch • Red chillies -2 • Curry leaves 1 sprig • Method • ▪️In a pan coconut oil, methi ,corianderseeds,cumin,dry red chillies, hing and saute for 3-4 minutes on low flame • Once cooled blend into a fine powder • ▪️in a kadai add tomato, green chillies jaggery, turmeric, curry leaves, tamarind extract, salt and cook for 10 minutes • ▪️Add water , toordal( cooked) rasampowder ,coriander • Leaves • ▪️ Add tempering and boil for 2 mins • #rasam #udupirasam #rasamrecipes #mangalorerecipes #udupisaaru #karnatakafood #southindianfood #tomatorasam #ricerecipes #rasamrice
