Burning PS2 Games in 2024 LINKS IN DESCRIPTION

There was a ton of convoluted forums with a bunch of seemingly angry people arguing with each other on how to do this. I tried all of the methods and I'm showing you what worked 100%. I don't care about the morality of downloading .iso and I don't care how easy emulating is. I wanted the boxes, the discs and the aesthetic. • You will need: • Free McBoot Memory Card: https://a.co/d/8zo1Z4Y • DVD-R, 16x: https://a.co/d/bdojXZP • Black DVD Cases 14mm: https://a.co/d/iI5cbKq • DVD Burner: https://a.co/d/7ZmEMv6 • Disc Image Burner/Program: https://www.ashampoo.com/en-us/burnin... • ESR File Patcher: https://www.psx-place.com/threads/esr... • Vimm's Lair ROMS: https://vimm.net/vault • Steps: • 1. Download desired ISO files. • 2. Patch the files using ESR patcher. • 3. Burn ISO to DVD-R disc at max speed. I did 8x on a 16x disc. The DVD MUST BE DVD-R. Not any other type. • 4. Plug in your Free McBoot Memory Card to Slot 1 of your PS2. • 5. The game will launch. If it doesn't launch automatically, scroll down the FMCB menu until you see Launch Disc and select it. • A couple of other notes: • 1. You will wear down the laser of your PS2 using burned games. It will not occur faster than you can keep up. You will have plenty of time and the laser eye will last just fine. Saying burned games will hurt the PS2 lense more than normal is like saying a building will start to crumble the moment it's done being built. Duh. Enjoy yourself. Have fun. • 2. The discs you use have to be quality and must be DVD-R. You can't use rewritables or +R. I don't care what you've read. This is what works. • 3. I printed my covers at Office Depot. There is a website called https://www.thecoverproject.net/ where you can get most covers for the games, but they don't have all of them. If you're looking for more, Google search (game name) ps2 game cover art and click on Images. I resized all of mine to 10.50 x7.50 .
