In this video I will show you how to replace the battery in the uninterruptible power supply EnerGenie EG-UPS in models 031 to 034. For reference, all 4 models differ in power in volt-amps: 650, 850, 1200, 1500. Structurally, all 4 models are the same, so a battery replacement video will be helpful to owners of all 4 models. • Link to this video: • How to Replace the Battery in the UPS... • Please, subscribe to my channel: / @androidncomp5003 • ----------------------------------- • TABLE OF CONTENTS • ----------------------------------- • 0:00 Intro • 0:27 Battery replacement • ---------------------------- • RELATED VIDEOS • ---------------------------- • How to Remove a PopSocket from the Phone? - • How to Remove a PopSocket from the Ph... • ---------------------------------------------------------- • ABOUT THE ANDROIDNCOMP CHANNEL • ---------------------------------------------------------- • Here you will find videos about using and optimizing your android phone. Unplug from the power outlet and disconnect any devices connected to it. • Loosen the screws and remove the shroud to access the battery. • Disconnect the power cords connected to the battery. Do not touch the uninsulated contacts with unprotected hands. Use plastic tweezers if access to the battery terminals is difficult. • Remove the screws of the optional battery retainer that holds the battery in place. • Then remove the old battery from the case. Never touch the battery terminals with your hands. • Place the new battery into the housing and secure it. • Connect the terminals with the appropriate polarity. • Install and secure the enclosure. • Connect the uninterruptible power supply to the mains. • After turning on, leave the UPS unloaded for several hours to charge the battery. Then disconnect the power plug to simulate a sudden power failure. Allow the UPS to run without load for 5 to 7 minutes to check its performance. • If there are no problems with the new battery, disconnect the power. Connect the necessary equipment, and then connect the UPS to the power supply. • The old battery should be returned to a recycling center for disposal or recycling.
