Disclaimer ⚠️ - this video is to highlight the consequences of intoxicants to Muslims. If you have gone through the experiences depicted in the title or this description do not watch the video as it may cause further guilt and regret that will hinder your progress in getting closer to Allah. • The stories are hypothetical scenarios constructed from the real experiences of brothers as a reminder to others to stay away from weed, alcohol and other intoxicants. When you get high do you ever think you would fail to lead your parents Janazah because of it? • I understand that not everyone can lead a Janazah salah and would prefer it to be led by a trusted scholar. Especially if he is a respected Alim. It is not shameful to give the chance to someone else or to pray for a great scholar to lead your funeral instead of your children. However, for the average Muslim it is expected and an honour to lead one's parent's funeral and in these stories due to sin, these individuals have failed in this action leading to a lifetime of regret that should serve as a reminder to all. • It was narrated from ‘Abdullah bin ‘Amr that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: • “Whoever drinks wine and gets drunk, his prayer will not be accepted for forty days, and if he dies he will enter Hell, but if he repents, Allah will accept his repentance. If he drinks wine again and gets drunk, his prayer will not be accepted for forty days, and if he dies he will enter Hell, but if he repents, Allah will accept his repentance. If he drinks wine again and gets drunk, his prayer will not be accepted for forty days, and if he dies he will enter Hell, but if he repents Allah will accept his repentance. But if he does it again, then Allah will most certainly make him drink of the mire of the puss or sweat on the Day of Resurrection.” They said: “O Messenger of Allah, what is the mire of the pus or sweat? He said: “The drippings of the people of Hell.” Sunan Ibn Majah 3377 • Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “The adulterer is not a believer while he is committing adultery. The drinker of wine is not a believer while he is drinking wine. The thief is not a believer while he is stealing. The plunderer is not a believer while he is plundering and the people are looking to him.” • In another narration, the Prophet said, “And he is not a believer while he is killing.” • Source: Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 2475, Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 57 • #islam #muslim #muslimah #janaza #death #weed #alcohol #salah #repentance #regret #guilt #parents #father #mother #children #sin
