The official video for Stille by Albertine Sarges, taken from her debut album 'The Sticky Fingers': https://moshimoshi.plctrmm.to/tsf • Albertine: Stille means stillness. A song dedicated to the early death of my father: that dark old brother depression, the frozen eternity of a world that has ceased to turn. It’s a grieving song, but I decided to glorify it like a meditation: “Stillness, like freshly fallen snow, like a new land, like the first day of the year.” • For this video I worked with a filmmaker from the UK, my dear friend Sophie le Roux. She and I meet each other through the back doors of our personalities, through our introverted sides. Where we touch, you rarely touch others. She moved to the Suffolk coast when the plague started and indulged in long walks through the marshes, sometimes leaving me voice notes about her thoughts and which birds she could see. The creeks in our minds connected. I had this idea to fuse my song and visuals of me dancing against the Berlin skies with her very own vision of the lonesome Suffolk landscape. I have to say that this video, with its colours sometimes hinting towards Psytrance palettes, hits the spot so hard! • Directed by Sophie Le Roux • https://moshimoshi.plctrmm.to/tsf • http://vevo.ly/rlmEWF
