EUROPALIA TRAINS TRACKS starts from the train's impact on society—both in the past and present—and works within various artistic disciplines around contemporary themes such as mobility, sustainability, technology and time. The programme will take place in museums and cultural centres but also in train stations and aboard trains across Belgium and other European countries, where artists will enter into dialogue with the architecture, the travellers and the railway staff. EUROPALIA TRAINS TRACKS will be a festival with special exhibitions and commissioned projects by both renowned and emerging artists in the visual arts, music, performing arts, literature and film. • EUROPALIA TRAINS TRACKS, from 14 October 2021 until 15 May 2022. For four months, in Belgium and its neighbouring countries, EUROPALIA, in collaboration with a wide network of cultural partners, presents a biennial with a myriad of artistic and socio-cultural projects that bring together visual arts, performing arts, film, music, literature and debate so as to stimulate an exchange of ideas. Newly commissioned projects and artistic residencies hold a central place in the programme that engenders a unique interaction between heritage and art. • EUROPALIA • Galerie Ravenstein 4 • B-1000 Brussels • T +32 (0)2 504 91 20 • T +32 (0)2 504 91 21 • [email protected] • Visit our website: https://europalia.eu/en • Find us on Instagram: / europalia • Find us on Facebook: / europalia • Find us on Twitter: / europalia2021
