Imamah vs Khilafah

The major distinction between the school of Ahlulbayt (a.s) and the other Islamic schools of thought revolves around the issue of Imamah (leadership), or the early successorship to Prophet Muhammad (saw). The Shi'a maintain that the office of the Imamah (leadership) has to be appointed and given directly by Allah (swt). People are thus commanded by Allah to follow specific successors (Imams) after the demise of the Prophet (saw). • Other schools of thought say that leadership is determined by Shura (election) and that this method was used to determine leaders. However, the Shi‘a school considers that the concept of Shura was never fully enacted after the death of the Prophet (saw). • Some people are deluded into thinking there can be no functioning Ummah at all without the existence of a powerful state or an Imam to lead it. This is irrational and opposes reality. We can see that there are hundreds of multi-national corporations and businesses that possess no government, land nor army but function in a systematic way, despite employing thousands of people globally. Some of the largest multi-national corporations exert more influence in the international areas than small nation states. • All of this is only made possible due to the fact that members of such organizations recognize a leader and act in a unified, organized way because of this. What would be the case of the Muslims working and in a unified manner under his authority? • In the United Kingdom some lorry drivers unified and protested almost bringing one of the most powerful countries in the world to a point of stagnation and chaos (after they prevented petrol transportation) so what could the global Muslim Ummah do when united and work together despite theological differences? • π¦π¨ππ¦ππ₯πππ π§π¨π₯π‘ π’π‘ π‘π’π§ππππππ§ππ’π‘π¦! • https://bit.ly/2wyJb5Hβ • π¦π¨π£π£π’π₯π§ π¨π¦: • PayPal: [email protected] • ππ’π‘π§πππ§ π¨π¦: • Email: [email protected] • ππ’πππ’πͺ π¨π¦: • Facebook: https://bit.ly/2BYg81bβ • Twitter: https://bit.ly/2Pjs5R2β • Instagram: https://bit.ly/2wwN2QH • #Shia • #Sunni • #Leadership
