Dash8 Q400 takeoffs from Manchester Airport

My first Dash 8 flight since October 2015 saw James and I taking the 08:20 service up to EDI from MAN. Aircraft for today was G-JEDW which arrived on time from EDI, we quickly boarded, taxiied out and departed 05L just a few minutes late, we reached a cruise of 20,000 feet, overflying the new Carlisle Airport and I bought a can of Irn Bru (I couldn't resist) before making our descent into Edinburgh, landing on runway 06 with a thud!
