We rescued this sloth last night. Some of the local farmers cut down the jungle and were burning what was left. This poor sloth lost its habitat and had no place to go. It was crawling in the dirt trying to find a tree. We were able to come across it before a predator. We brought it to our reserve and let it go. Needless to say it was very happy to feel grass and it started to crawl to one of the trees right away.
