We climbed aboard the Sailfish for a 70 minute educational boat ride down the Mississippi gulf coast. Along the way, the guides taught us all about shrimping - and even dropped a 16 foot trawl underwater to catch a few. We studied the creatures living in the water, from the fish to the shrimp, with the captain and crew as our informative and entertaining guides. The kids were fascinated by the hands on interactions, and surprised me by holding the shrimp!
