Why is the majority of Mainstream News, especially “respectable” news in TV and Newspapers today so utterly riddled with ideology, hit-pieces, falsehoods and outright lies. From the New York Times to BBC’s Evening News, were we should find reporting about what happened, we find spin and opinions that tell us what to think rather than what is going on. How did it all happen? On this channel, I have attributed a lot of blame on ideological schools, especially the neocons and culture war leftism but my guest today has a different theory.
