Pressure Testing Pool Water Lines

Today I'm going to talk about pressure testing your pool lines. The pool we have open right now is in the Charlewood area in Winnipeg. What we do is when we remove all pool liners and install new ones part of the process is pressure testing items such as, your pool jets as well as the skimmer and the main drain at the bottom your pool. All those three things are connected to your pool equipment. The skimmer brings water to your pump, the main drain brings water to pump as well, and the jets or the returns return the water to your pool. They are pressurized lines, where as a skimmer and the main drain are suction lines. In this pool the equipment is really close you can see the the pump right there so that's where the lines that are buried underground come up. We connect to those lines, we plug the ends at the pool of the jet the skimmer and the drain, then we pressurize them and leave them for a certain period of time and we will see if the pressure drops. If they don't lose pressure all is well, if they do then we have to start the leak finding process. • UV Pools • 4304 Henderson Hwy Narol, MB R1C 0A1 • (204) 414-1200 • http://www.uvpools.com/ • We are located just outside the Winnipeg city limits. • Subscribe to our YouTube channel: • / @uvpoolswinnipeg
