Orthographic Projections: • Orthographic projection is a method of representing three–dimensional objects in two dimensions. It is generally used by Engineers, designers, architects, and technical artists to help a manufacturer understand specifics of a product that needs to be created commonly use it. • There are 2 types of orthographic projections • (1) First angle method of Projections and • (2) Third angle method of Projections. • What is the difference between the 1st angle and 3rd angle method of Projections? • The difference between the first and third angle projection is in the position of the Top, Front and Side views. • Why we can't use the 2nd and 4th angle projection? • Note: Overlapping projection views create confusion in the drawing.
