Cowlitz River Summer Steelhead 3 Trips To Success

We been trying for summer run steelhead near blue creek and I haven't even hooked one for the last couple trips until this last trip. I usually don't go too many trips in a row without fish so Aaron ‪@adsoutdoors‬ says I have been whining LOL. Although it hasn't been red hot yet with hit miss when some fish come through if you are there at the right time you might hook some. You don't know if you don't go. Aaron along with some others have had some bites every trip recently. They dropped the river down very low to summer flow levels, actually very very low under 2400 CFS. Regardless of how many fish we hook or catch, it is always fun fishing with friends. Aaron is relentless in giving me crap LOL. I included some little tid bits or tips for what I use towards the end that seems to work for me when the water gets low. Leave a comment if you have any questions, suggestions, ideas, etc.....
